Parish Leaflet - March 27th 2020   Information for everyone in our Parish – update 27.03.20

In light of recent guidelines from the Government, all activities, including private prayer in the church lounge and donations to the Bestwood and Bullwell FoodBank, are now suspended until further notice. Regrettably, owing to the new restrictions placed upon social contact, only very limited essential practical support will be available until further notice.  Access to daily Bible reflections and on-line Sunday services will continue to be available here on the parish website.

Enquiries regarding essential telephone pastoral care  can be made either by calling our CareLine on (0115) 943 0137 or else by sending an email to care@bramcoteparishchurch.com

Daily devotional reflections are available below.

Each Sunday, the weekly on-line service is available below.

Virtual Services   Sunday, March 29th – Click icon to play in Vimeo

Please be aware that owing to current major software issues, the weekly Sunday Service should only be displayed in a minimised window within Vimeo.  The service may occasionally stall, but if it does simply press pause, wait for 10 seconds, then press play again, when the video will continue to download and resume.
We are hoping to resolve these limitations for future services.

Special Seasonal Material   Bishop Paul’s weekly reflection.

Regular information updates and resources relating to our response to the COV-19 (Coronavirus) will appear below in due course.

Supporting the Bestwood Foodbank

Although donations are desperately needed during the current COV-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak, our abily to collect and distribute such donations  has had to be suspended for the foreseeable future as a direct consequence of the recent tighter restrictions placed upon social contact by the Government.  Please rest assured that this service will be restored as soon as possible.

Faith in Action (James 2:17)

There is a special FoodBank trolly in the crush hall for members of Saint Michael’s to donate items of food which will be delivered regularly to the Bestwood FoodBank.

This facility is available for food to be dropped off both on Sundays and during the week for those taking part in mid-week activities.

Please refer to the weekly notice sheet for details of urgent requirements.

Contact David Jones on (0115) 922 4078 for further information.
