Because of additional Covid-19 restrictions recently put in place, we are no longer able to hold services in church each Sunday morning.  This restriction is currently expected to last for a month, but may be further extended.  The church is still open, however, for daily private prayer.

Church of England Safety Guidelines for Private Prayer and
Worship in Church.

The church is OPEN for Private Prayer and a weekly Sunday
‘Services of The Word’ or ‘Communion’.

If you intend to attend on a Sunday morning, please let us know in advance by calling (0115) 943 0137 or by sending an email to care@bramcoteparishchurch.com no later than lunchtime on the preceeding Saturday.  This will help us greatly in determining how may people hope to attend in order that we can maintain a clean and safe environment.  Please note, this is NOT a booking system and does NOT guarentee you a seat in Church – Thank you.

Supporting the Bestwood Foodbank

Although our abily to collect and distribute donations of food have been severely restricted since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, donations can now be left in the South Porch of the Church between 10:00am and 12:00noon (Monday to Friday).  To make up the shortfall of available food you can also make monetary donations to purchase desperately needed provisions.

Please visit the foodbank website at
to make monetary donations that will go towards providing essential provisions to help people who are currently experiencing very serious needs.

Faith in Action (James 2:17)

There is a special FoodBank trolly in the crush hall for members of Saint Michael’s to donate items of food which will be delivered regularly to the Bestwood FoodBank.

This facility is available for food to be dropped off both on Sundays and during the week for those taking part in mid-week activities.
