Throughout Lent, Bishop Paul will be holding a series of talks designed to REFRESH our spiritual lives in order that we might become more effective disciples. The clergy and members of the PCC will be attending the two sessions at Saint Margaret’s, Aspley on March 15th and 22nd. Do join us that we may grow together, and become more effective in serving the Lord together here in Bramcote.
Diocesan Bishop Paul Williams recently hosted two sessions entitled Discipleship, Gospel and Giving at which he explored the challenges and opportunities which arise around discipleship and financial giving.
In addressing the financial needs attached to resourcing our church’s mission, including parish share, he addressed the issue of how we might continue to nurture a culture of generous giving, without it feeling a burden.
He then went on to provide practical suggestions as to what can be done to help us grow in the gift of giving as part of our spiritual formation as followers of Christ.
