Pastoral Care
We all need to experience the love, care and support of others.
At St Michael’s, this is achieved principally through our Homegroup scheme, but also by means of our Prayer and Bereavement Care Teams and through the work of the long established Bramcote Care Group.
Home Groups are for anyone who wants to experience Christian fellowship in a more intimate environment than is possible at a church service, and to belong to a supportive group of Christians where pastoral and prayer needs may be shared in total confidence. For many people, Home Groups become their spiritual family.
PRAYER
We hold several formal prayer meetings each week and details are shown in our list of activities plus our weekly newsletter. We are also open for private prayer from 10am to 12noon each weekday.
SILVER SURFERS – Companionship, Cake and Computers
Silver Surfers is a weekly social gathering which provides support for those needing assistance with laptops, computers, smartphones and any other small devices. Visit our Groups and Activities page for adults for more details.

TRAINING COURSES
To become fully grounded members of society and effective Christian Disciples, we need to reflect upon issues of faith and the major milestones of our lives. To help individuals in this respect, we offer a number of training courses throughout the year, ranging from Christian Basics, Alpha and the Emmaus Discipleship courses, to Wholeness and Healing, Marriage Preparation, Marriage Enrichment and Pastoral Ministry courses.
