Who are we?
Groups of indfividuals having between four and fourteen members, meeting monthly, weekly or fortnightly. A few of the groups meet during the day, but most meet on a
Thursday evening.
Who are we for?
The House Groups are for anyone who wants to experience Christian fellowship in a more intimate environment than is possible at a church service, and to belong to a supportive group of Christians where pastoral and prayer needs may be shared in total confidence. For many people, House Groups become their spiritual family.
What do we do?
Each group is unique in its emphases and activities, but the principal aim of all groups is to study the Bible together (following a course used by the whole church), to pray together, to enjoy fellowship and other activities together and to offer support and friendship to one another, all in the greater service of Christ.
“Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them
in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the
Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything
I have commanded you. And surely I am with you
always, to the very end of the age.”
Matthew 28:19-20 (NIV)
When and where do we meet?
Whilst most housegroups meet on a Thursday evening, others meet on different evenings, and some during the day, to enable everyone to attend at some stage during the week.
