At our 10am Holy Communion on Sunday 30th July our visiting preacher was Archdeacon Phil Williams, who based his sermon on Jesus’ parables on ‘This is What the Kingdom of God is Like’ in Matthew 13: 31-35 and 44-52. If you have never studied these, now is the time to do so! The Archdeacon spoke on the importance of explaining what the Kingdom of God is like to everyone we meet! He went on to discuss the importance of being open to change as we seek to encourage more people hear the messages that Jesus brought to us.
