Christian Aid Week began on Sunday 14th May with a special service at which we welcomed our Area Dean, Rev Jo Tatum, as our visiting preacher. Jo used a reading from Joel 1:10-12 to refer to the traumas experienced by so many, followed by Ephesians 1:15-24 to explain all that can be achieved through the prayer and actions of those who have faith in Jesus Christ.
We were thus encouraged to support not only each other but also those experiencing the sense of hopelessness brought about by climate change chaos, conflict and injustice.
